The fees associated with wireless
processing is pretty much like a mobile merchant and most of
the time that is the type of business that needs to process
wireless transactions. There are several wireless and portable
terminals available. Cell phone processing is
also and option.
If the cell phone is chosen as a processing medium then a MSR and
printer combination unit will need to be purchased to keep the
transaction into the Qualified rate schedule. If you do not purchase
the MSR and printer combination then
you still may be able to
process credit cards with a virtual terminal and supplying the
security code from the back of the MasterCard and Visa credit
cards.

1. Input the security number
from the card into every transaction.
2. Purchase or lease
a wireless terminal.
3. Use a cell phone with a MSR
and
printer. |
The cost of any wireless
option can be paid for easily if the fees are Qualified
transactions. Of course, the equipment purchased is paid for
faster by more processing that occurs. If
a transaction is not swiped or Qualified, then those
transactions are down
graded to
a Mid-Qualified rate. With the chart below you should notice
this fact.
