Restaurant Merchants are the
most sought after accounts for processors like us. They are typically
very few chargebacks and the transactions are mostly
Qualified (swiped with card in hand), with a few exceptions. Pizza deliveries are the more frequent
exceptions. When the food is delivered most merchants do
not send a processing terminal with the employee making
the delivery. In this case the transactions fall into a
Mid-Qualified transaction type.
To keep the transactions in
the Qualified rate schedule the employee making the delivery can
have a
wireless terminal (Click Here )or use a cell
phone with a MSR and printer. (Click

The fees are usually lower than
any other type of payment processing business. If a merchant
does not swipe the cards then those transactions are down graded to
a Mid-Qualified rate. With the chart below you should notice
this fact.
